5 Exercises to Gain Explosive Power

This is one of the simplest yet most effective explosive power exercises. When it comes to utilizing a huge amount of force and generating loads of power from a static position, nothing can be better than box jumps.

  1. Find a strong, large box and stand straight in front of it. You can also replace it with any sturdy surface having raised edges.
  2. Jump up to reach the top of the box and land with both of your feet onto it.
  3. Now, start to make your legs straight slowly.
  4. Once you get back into the standing position, jump down from the top of the box.
  5. Again, jump back up onto it immediately.[/su_box]
