1. Check the weather
How you’re dressed dramatically affects your comfort on the bike – wind chill factor can kick in even on a sunny afternoon. In order to dress appropriately, you need to have a basic idea of what the weather will be doing. There is huge satisfaction to be had in having a pair of gloves or some sunscreen handy should they become necessary during your ride.
